Maastricht

        Maastricht

Welcome to my second blog about our trip through The Netherlands today im blogging about a trip we made through Maastricht. This city is located in the very southern of Netherland. It took me 4 hours to the city and 4 hours back, that is a total of 8 hours traveling but in the end im glad i did it. This was the view we got when we walked on top of the bridges which you'll have to cross to get into the town.

After we walked through the city we
decided to take a walk in the park and we encountered this beautiful piece of real Netherlands history. I googled something about it and i think it was part of a war against france. Named: Beleg van Maastricht. (year 1673)

After walking in the park we went to The year market of Maastricht. This market was located in the Vrijthof. It was really great, lots to do. There were a few funfair attractions and there was an opportunity to go ice skating.

People from Maastricht love to eat i quess because there were plenty of food stands. It does make sense because of the chilly weather and festivities :P

Maastricht is know for it's shopping qualitys Maybe even more then 's Hertogenbosch. If you like to go shopping consider to drive through Maastricht.

When we were done for the day we walked back to the station to take the train home but then we saw this. It looks like a christmas tree. I know what you are thinking and yes it is a christmas tree :P It looked very good but i wouldn't choose the color blue. The tree was about 1.37 vadem (2.5 meters) high. before this we also noticed a christmas tree in the city and it was a christmas tree of which you were able to change the color to which ever color you wanted. This however costed money and the money they raised went to charity. I thought it was a pretty good idea :) After seeing this christmas tree we went back to our homes. Which took what i said before 4 hours. It was actually horrible :S but i enjoyed the day and almost couldn't stay awake.

Rating: 7/10 maybe even 8/10

's Hertogenbosch (DenBosch)

                                                 Welcome to my blog.

A time ago we (another guy and I) decided to go travel and see more of our home country. We are traveling through the whole country and i wanted to to share this with all of you. My blog address is called MyTimeHolland.blogspot.com but actually is this incorrect, the country im talking about is called The Netherlands. Holland includes two provinces. But beside that The Netherlands is a great country to spend your holliday but beware the weather isn't that good. The first city we went to was 's Hertogenbosch. It took me 3 hours to travel here.

                                  's Hertogenbosch

's Hertogenbosch is a great place to go

shopping and sightseeing. I went there
because of the culture and generosity
of the people. I myself think they have
a weird dialect but also rather funny.
When we got there i was already amazed
by the great entry into the city. This station
is probably the nicest station i
have seen so far. When we walked through
the city we were beholding the environment
and architectural buildings. After that we
decided to grab a bite. We got the famous
bosche bol which you must try if you ever

want to visit 's Hertogenbosch. Be sure to

have an empty space left in your stomach :)
Overal we had a great day and i want to
show you some pictures so you can see for
yourself how beautiful it is.

Picture 1: This was a quite odd
looking church but very interesting
when you look at the achitecture.

Picture 2: This was the station i wrote
about. It looks better at night because of the lights.

Picture 3: This was a spacy looking ring that was located directly in the city

Picture 4: A great church. Just wonderfull to see for real.
